I've been pretty upset with the last few lineups at DEMF/Movement for the past few years with the exception of this years. I agree that it would be the best time for you to come to Detroit though not because of DEMF but because of the shows and afterparties going on around that time. Throughout the rest of the year it seems the Detroit techno scene starts to dry up as you might only see 1 or 2 good parties worth going to. Paxahau has a pretty good archive collection, it's stream audio though.
