It seems that TX has found a way to modify the latest Switch consoles, including the newly released Lite

Since the new 'red box' Mariko units appeared, people have been asking when will it be possible to run CFW on it, well today MaxConsole was in touch with trusted TX reseller, that been given some advance news on a new solution that is coming soon, and that it infact works on all new Switch models, not just the 'patched' ones, but even the 'mariko', and 'lite' models as well, see below what they mentioned:

TX has recently taken the time to demonstrate to us some of their Work-In-Progress. Notably for 'patched' and 'mariko' units which is very advanced, and works flawlessly. We were not given a firm date or prices yet, but knowing TX we know the price will be very reasonable. We also saw early beta for Switch Lite console as well.

So that above is great news, and we will have more in the coming weeks, as we have requested to get an early sample from the trusted TX reseller, so that we can share more info with our loyal readers, on how TX's new solution works and what is involved and pics of course!

I did send team sx a mail, and I asked them politely if they could give some respite the rumor. And some other questions. Don't expect a answer, but if they confirm the rumor or something. I am inclined to believe it's true they're on to something.

If they confirm it, it means nothing without a proof.

Hmmm, to me it means at least more then nothing. Cuz why would they confirm something that's not true. Or at least that it is something in the ballpark of truth. A business is only as good as they're word. And if they confirm I would feel a bit more confident that it's at least making progress in the matter. If they say, yeah we are working on the issue, but have no solutions yet. I would respect that more then a lie. And I hope a business who wants to be respected and trusted feels the same.. but ofcourse proof is best. All I am saying is that I would be a bit more optimistic if they give some sort of confirmation to the rumor.

i've been waiting for this announcement since July 2018 when they promised it, and now the announcement we get is only essentially a leak.

TX has always been hardware based. Like someone mentioned, since they have been doing this since BEFORE you were born, you might wanna calm your tits. I have no doubt they will break the Switch, hardware wise, no problem.

I do think that if they finally debut this hack.. GBATemp needs to BAN a handful of shit talkers.
