Then you must be really new to internet.
I though it was my grandma who was talking.

Ok, yes, clicking the right stick works with SX-installer aswell ...
    BUT ...
You can only change the view between NEW and ALL if you have minimum 1 new.
Without a new one there appears no <NEW ...> tab :(

From sx installer. It works just fine. It just takes forever for my game list to show up.

You definitely can't start direct from the SX-installer. It's just "inserting"/mounting the XCI like normal and you have to start it out of the normal Switch menu.
Anyway: Launching is 5.x and below only. This doesn't refer to the installed firmware but to the key of the XCI !!! So all XCI with masterkey above will NOT work.

I saw it >_> please don't, just post your questions here so others can see and search for later on. Also, all your questions have already been answered.

    Store XCIs in "mount" folder
    Store NSPs in "install" folder
    To avoid scanning on load
Go to File Browser > sdmc or sxusb to mount an XCI or install a NSP.

If you have the DLC and Updates in a folder that is readable to SX Installer or a server added to it, it will find it and load it for you if you want it. It WILL NOT automatically get anything from Nintendo, you must supply the sources for it.

    Thank you.
So i add a game. To obtain the update or DLC i need to add a source.
Question is how do i add the source through sxox installer?
Also if i obtain a 2TB portable hard drive and plug into the switch dock will the dock provide enough power to run it?
Where would i locate the game for the sxos to see it please?
    Thanks

If it's a 2.5 portable, probably, if its not in a cheap enclosure. Full size, no.

Wait for the manual I guess

ONLY if you have the updates and DLC on a shared drive, or the same USB stick etc. it will not magically connect to an external server and download them for you.

If you take a look at the bridge connector error log you'll see that when it's trying to read the header for information java throws some exception and blows up the connection, causing that error. Two posts down from that I said I was having trouble xD It -almost- worked xD

Restart your Switch... I ran into that issue as well for some reason, restart will fix it.

If you are trying to install a game that requires 6.2 keys it will fail, you need an installer that can handle 6.2 key games and then manually supply the keys to the app, ignoring the firmware requirement wont help with the lack of keys P:
