Hats off to their skilled team (again)
Team Twiizers, the guys that are basically due credit for the state of the entire Wii homebrew scene, have today released a small teaser video showing a successful DSi exploit allowing them to run a small piece of code natively on the new Nintendo DSi.
For those of you that are new to the scene, you may not know, that even though there are DSi compatible flash carts already on the market, these are limited to running in a "DS Mode" when used on the DSi. DS mode limits code by not allowing it to access the new features and hardware present in the DSi such as the camera or additional memory. However this new discovery by Team Twiizers may just turn this situation around.
The video shows a hacked cartridge of the new DSi compatible 'Classic Word Games' game from Ubisoft, with an entire set of wires and PCB found hanging from the cart. However, we don't yet know how much this is relied on.
Congratulations to Team Twiizers for their continued success and thanks for all their hard work they've put into the scene.
Thanks to SifJar for the news.
