Hello,

I follow Koureio guide.
I run TBR 1.11 and install IOS 36 patched version on slot 36.
Following this guide, I also installed BootMii and cIOS hermes v5 (instead of v4) and cIOSx rev17.

Then I try to run usbloader_gx, i can see games but when I launch the game it doesn't work.

Then I read that using TBR 1.11, I should have installed IOS 36 patched version on slot 249.
I follow this new guide.
I successfully downgrade IOS15.
Then I try to install on slot 249.
But I have an error at the end : return error -10xx.
With error message : your IOS 36 is rev 3351 (if I remember well) or above : installation failed.

The wii boot without any problem, I can access to HBC.

But now I can't run TBR 1.11.

Thanks for your help.

TBR restorer has nothing to do with IOS249, get your facts straight

follow a real guide like the simplistic mod and the complete softmod guide... wtf is the Koureio guide? I don't know if its a bad guide, or if u just aren't following it properly... either way, the top 2 guides are the ones I mentioned... so stick to using ONE of those

edit:
btw, "cIOSx rev17" is installed to slot 249, so it probably didn't install correctly... there's a probably a lot of things u did wrong, so just start from the beginning of the guide

You can install a patched IOS36 as IOS249 with TBR, but it's nowhere near being helpfull if you want to use usb loaders.

@wiipower... i thought TBR gave the option to install a patched IOS36 to either slot 36 or 236 (not 249)... am i mistaken?

IOS36, 236 and 249. And it does make sense to have that option, but only for people with a problem with backups/piracy.

The "Koureio" guide isn't bad, just unupdated
The Koureio forum is the "Official" USB loader GX forum btw (I can know that, because I'm the only frequent visitor
