Hi, the PAL and USA releases are missing a character (the magician), all anime endings and minigames...
Is it possible to translate the Japanese game using some files from the US release?

It would be interesting. What interests me is that the game boasts global online. What if a Japanese player chooses to play as this missing character. Is that character actually in the NTSC game, just "disabled"? If that is the case, I'm sure it wouldn't be very hard to re-enable the character.

the pal version got 33 files on the disc I would identify as the fighters. But I can't see names, only 3 letters are visible.

did anybody count the fighters ingame? (the lil pics at the selection screen ?

There are two "japanese versions". The new one, with WiFi, don't have the genius, the roster is the same.

The Japanese version of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars features many minigames and anime endings missing in the western release...

    No it doesn't...

Japanese and american version are almost identical, I think the only difference is in the minigames.
