Tales of Symphonia - The Animation

I just watched the second and third part of this as I forgot about it because of the 2 month lapse between releases. I never finished the game as I had to return it to Blockbuster but after the third part, it still isn't where I was. I was further then I thought.

But yeah, one more part to go that releases at the end of this month. Can't wait to finally learn how the story ends.

Has anyone watched the Tales of Phantasia OAV? Any good? Never played that one.
And any word on a Tales of the Abyss OAV? It's my favorite Tales game.

Ah..that reminds me to watch it, I never really remembered since releases were so far apart...

ToS is a prequel to ToP, sort of, if you think about the ending of ToS.

I don't think any of the Tales games are connected except for direct sequels like the one coming for Wii.

Okay, so the last episode is out. Just finished it. At the end it basically said end chapter, begin new chapter. I remembered everything from all 4 episodes but knew I stopped playing right after I got to the second disc. So I looked up a walkthrough and the OVA only covers the first disc of the game. WTF?

Yea, the Tales OVAs never really show a complete story for any of the games.

The ToP OVA starts halfway through the game and I don't think it finishes either, haha.

And yea, unofficially...might've been officially actually...ToS is a prequel to ToP. There's enough connections there for it to make sense.
