Tales Of Phantasia!

I played through it multiple times with the DeJap translation for the SNES on an emulator, then one day my little brother surprised me with the GBA version... and then teased me by not letting me play it for a while while he played it.

I was disappointed they took the vocals out of the opening, and was also disappointed at mint's vocals. They sounded so... unlike stuff that would be said in a battle. More like stuff you'd say as an answer on a game show.

yeah the tales of games are just awesome and phantasia is probably the best. I still have to finish the snes version

I've always been a little obsessed with collecting every piece of armor and every weapon and item and such in Phantasia because they each have their own separate icons/images, and I loved that.

I've met a ton of tales fans that have never even heard of Phantasia, though.

Besides the boat scene, the SNES version is so bad, lol.
I loved playing the GBA version. I still need to beat it actually

I'm close to finishing, but my friend is borrowing my DSlite since his got stolen, so I can't play it right now.
