Gaming Tales of phantasia problem..

I got the English patch attached to the game(I got the english patch on http://www.tales-cless.org/?page=tales).My problem is everytime i use too much magic the game freezes and I tried everything but nothing seems too work. I also lowered the compression level to 1-4 like they said on http://www.gamerspress.com/index.php?title...tibility_List#T and It still freezes. Im more than halfway through the game and i dont want to start over again.

try switching to POPS 3.71 (or 3.81, can't remember)

well i got POPS 3.72 but I dont got POPS 3.71. how/where do you get POPS 3.71?

ok i just checked and i have it set on 3.80 so try that POPS. But to tell the truth I have experienced freezes on most of the POPS and 3.80 has given my the least problems

EDIT: btw I've just found out you are using Phantasian Production's version of the translation which I may add is a DEMO. ABsolute Zero has released a fully translated patch a couple of years ago so use theirs

oh i made a mistake the english patch is from Absolute Zero. how do you get 3.80 POPS?
