I've been following this news of ToI translation from the very beginning, and I cannot wait to play ToI in English! You guys are doing a very awesome job, if I might say, probably the best in fan translation world. I love the font you chose to be the main font, it is very light and comfortable to see.

And the decision of not releasing alpha or beta version before the project is completed, I'm with you 100%. No offence to other translators, but after I tried playing other Japanese games that get translated partially, I quickly lost interest of continuing them because what's the point? After I get to a certain point of the game, the game will be Japanese again, so I think everyone should wait patiently until the project is finished.

And this is ToI we're talking about, a great game that should've gone to US. Even if we got FF XIV in DS, I'm pretty sure I'll still be playing ToI once the project is finished.

There is a new update on the blog, but I'll mention the biggest news here: The translation will include subtitles for the voice-only scenes in the game. We are leaving no stones unturned in this translation!

P.S. The subtitles are far more readable on a DS than they look here.

Perhaps you could all get drunk one day and dub it.

Then release two patches, one dubbed and one subtitled.

It's always better to push your abilities forwards than backwards. =P
With this project already looking highly polished, I can't imagine what future ones will be like.

I just found out about subtitles, damn you're doing this right......I must say I'm pretty amazed of the things you're doing here..

This is going far beyond usual translating, you're actually changing game a little bit!!
