Nice, Tales of Hearts, next Bandai/Namco "Tales of..." game, will be sold (in Japan of course) in two distinct versions... one with CG movies, and the other one with anime style movies... brilliant!!! [IMG]

The girl in the CG version is ugly and scares me.. I'm sticking with the 2D animation one [IMG]

A creative way to empty our pockets even more!

And now here come the compulsory 2D vs. 3D debates.

This is a neat idea, but what's stopping them from including both in one game (besides the obvious money factor)?

They look much older in CG, hee hee, I got used to 2D cut-scenes but I guess I'll "buy" both.

For some reason, I liked it in a way.

No matter what you present it in, that girl's costume will still look fugly and stupid. I'll still get one of them if they're released in English.

B\N is losing it. Two kinds of FMVs?
How filthy stinking rich do you have to be to push these ridiculous ideas?

Or do they want to see if To* fans will buy a single game twice? (S-E says "Fuck yeah, they will!")

i don't think anyone's suggesting people should buy both... just buy the one they personally prefer. i'm all for giving people more choice in these matters.
