Hacking sysUpdater freeze while downgrading from 9.9.0 to 9.2.0 on n3ds

Hello, I want to downgrade firmware on my New 3DS (Eur) from 9.9.0 from 9.2.0 by using Julian's version of sysUpdater as prompted on this forum. As entry point I've tried browserhax and also menuhax. Sometimes I get error "failed to get CIA file info" and most of the time console freeze/gives black screen after running sysUpdater from Homebrew Launcher. I've tried this several times but sadly no luck. Does anybody know what I did wrong? Thanks in advance.

use this version of sysupdater http://larbob.com/build/sysupdater/ instead and delete the extdata folder off your sd card it's in SD:/Nintendo 3ds/*******/*******/extdata

Been helping a friend downgrading from 9.5 (Jap N3DS), sysupdater gave black screen, safesys freezed/glitched, after many many attempts! Upgraded to recent 10.7 firmware, used cubic ninja and downgraded at first attempt, some people on here say it shouldn't matter if you're on 9.x or 10.3 or whatever, but from my own experience 9.5 was totally unable to downgrade or update with sys/safesys and had to be on a higher sysnand to work.
