Anyone know if it is possible to organise the games on the SD alphabetically; other than manually moving each one. Is there a Windows util that will let you sort them? Probably not but I live in hope [IMG]

Tried to search but cannot use SD or 4.0 in the search as GBATemp disallows 3 character or less searches (about time you turned this off)

I am wondering where it stores the data when you move them, I am guessing \Private\Wii\loc.dat but this will probably be encrypted.

You mean how they are arranged in the HBC?

Open up the meta.xml file with the .dol of all of em and sort them alphabetically. Just put like an A.) B.) C.) before each of the names. If an app doesn't have a meta.xml file with it just copy one from another one and edit the name of it.

Edit: nvm then. Does moving them manually not keep it that way?

I have a related question: Is it possible to copy additional download content for Wiiware games to the SD-card? They don't show up in the Data-Management tool.

You will find DLC in the save game section of your data management. For example in Mega Man 9 it has the subtitle "Pay & Play".

Oi! start you own thread [IMG] it is not related to my question [IMG]

OK while deleting loc.dat does change the menu order, they end up in some strangely disorganised way, e.g. all the strongbad games are randomly distributed through the list.

Yeah, I've been wondering this, too. It is to do with the loc.dat file but have NFI what's what in a HEX editor. I found this: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Loc.dat but I am keen to try and write something, though I know nothing. [IMG] I did C++ at TAFE about 7 years ago...

It sorts it in title ID, such as this: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Title_database#000...loaded_channels

Thanks at least that explains why they are in a weird order.
