Hacking System update & BOTW DLC Question

so I think there was an update already and I'm still on 2.0 I think. (I haven't used the console in like 2.5 weeks) Anyways when the DLC comes out for BOTW will I have to update my system?

I think no.
For example, some DLCs with Smash Wii U/3DS came without a update. unless the game or console needs to be updated.

Im going to say your have to update.
It will be an eshop download, and it seems like nintendo is making people update to get to the eshop.
No telling what ver however.
But i will guess that your have to be on the newest or 1 before the newest update at that time

right now you can still get into the eshop by using some of the tuts posted here. perhaps by the time the dlc is released they will figured out how to force an update. im more worried about mario kart and splatoon
