    Netherlands, currently
I blame Birth By Sleep. Just wait until something that cool pops up for DS and the DS sales will rise again.

Birth By Sleep has been out for a while now in Japan, and sales went up then as well.

I feel sorry for those 836 people who bought a PSP go.

The psp's picking up and the people who think that all DS's should be grouped together can't use the same argument they used in the other thread.

Its MonHun Nikki: Poka Poka Ailu Mura and Ace Combat: Joint Assault that is doing it.

DS hasn't had much for a while but you can bet the Pokemon release will eclipse this even though surely everyone in Japan must have three each.

I would guess the PS3 sales have to with the Jailbreak.

Yeah, that`s exactly what I meant in the last thread. To make this statement you`ve accumulated the sales of all PSP-model and DS-models and then you compared all the systems there are and "you" made the justified conclusion, that the PSP dominated all the other systems this month... Ahhh It seems that the only options Sony has is to go back to the regular PSP. Do anyone think that the boost of sales in the PS3 could be made possible by the PSJailbreak/PSFreedom/PSGroove?

Surprised to see the DS still selling so well, what with the 3DS nearing launch and the fact everyone in Japan probably has one by this stage. [IMG]

Isn't it funny how nobody cares about video game sales any more? When the PS2 was king that's all people could talk about. Now that Sony has been dethroned sales figure talk has become a cliche. A couple of years ago this topic would have been a lot more popular.

Why is that? Is it because people who care about sales figures are not real gamers? Or was all that sales talk driven by a corporate machine who was just using it in their propaganda war? Or is it because no one cares about this stuff except the insecure bean counting fanboys who post and discuss sales figures? (Seriously, these are honest questions.)

Either way its nice to see websites like neogaf and vgchartz go down the tubes. Both have experienced a serious drop in traffic over the past 8 months.
