These are my Wii's sysCheck results. To be honest, I don't know a whole lot when it comes to IOS's. I'm not even sure if any of them are outdated or not. But for those of you who do know, I was wondering if you guys could recommend any needed updates?

[EDIT:] Also, I believe I have DM 2.9 installed. Is that what the "+" at the end of DIOS MIOS 2.6.1 is trying to tell me?

everything looks fine as long as you are not having problems i wouldn't mess with it not sure on the DM thing though
Everything seems to be working fine. I've been messing with emuNAND recently and I've been experiencing some incompatibility. I've read people talking about rev 19 and d2x-r9 beta. I've actually seen d2x-r9 brought up for a variety of different issues. Then I'll hear people saying stuff like "base 38" when referring to IOS's, I think I get that one, but why say "base 38" instead of it's corresponding IOS?

My DML says 2.6+ yet I'm on 2.9 (I assume you're using DM for USB storage which is why it's 2.6.1+), so yeah that's why it says that.

I've had the same d2xv8final for years with no compatibility issues. What games are causing problems? For the record here's mine:

Code:
IOS202[60] (rev 65535, Info: hermes-v5.0): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS222[38] (rev 65535, Info: hermes-v5.0): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS223[37] (rev 65535, Info: hermes-v5.0): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS224[57] (rev 65535, Info: hermes-v5.0): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS236[36] (rev 65535, Info: rev 3351): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access
IOS249[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS254 (rev 65281): BootMii

Most of my problems are coming from VC and WiiWare games I'm running from emuNAND. The only problem I'm having outside of emuNAND is with DM and Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II. Which seems to be a problem a lot of people are having.

i use uneek to play all my games because of the 100 percent compatibility that uneek offers with wii games and channel games
100% compatibility sounds awesome! I just finished looking into uneek. Can I create everything I need outside of the Wii? Do I need to install anything to the Wii's internal memory to get this to work?

EDIT: Also, when I see that a certain game runs off a specific IOS, but that IOS on my Wii says "no patch", does that matter? Or does it mean that that game just needs that IOS to exist in some fashion?

as long as you have bootmii installed it will work and i can give you a link to a channel that will launch it from the sys menu
for uneek you dont use cios the games use the ios they are meant to
use modmii go to the settings and change it from neek20 to regular neek(if you want to)choose uneek+di
neek20 is an alternative that will use the .wbfs files you already have (not sure on compatibility with it)
then you can use my gameconverter to convert your games from .wbfs to neek format
your HD needs to be setup specifically to FAT32 and 32kb on partion 1 i also have a nand dumper program that will dump your nand straight to your usb HD
modmii and game converter and nand dumper are in my sig

also you have unlimited room for saves and if you play rock band or just dance or anything like that
you can have all the DLC on there to it just depends on size of HD

I'm currently under the impression that UNEEK is an app that emulates the Wii without modifying my current configuration. Would installing UNEEK require any part of my Wii's internal memory to be modified? Or does it run completely and independently on my USB device?

I'm worried because Modmii says that UNEEK+DI will disable the DVD Drive for games but not apps. When it talks about disabling the DVD drive, does it mean while I'm accessing the emuNAND from within UNEEK? Or does it mean that for me to be able to run UNEEK it'll have to disable my DVD Drive on my Wii all together?

only when using uneek +di other option is just uneek without di is for playing retail discs but having saves and channels working with uneek

I'm using the Google CompleteSoftModGuide for SNEEK and I'm having problems. IOSKpatch can't run successfully because it says my pc is missing msvcr100.dll. When I try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package" I can't because Vista says I have a newer version of MVC++ already installed.

Not sure how to continue.. Is there a more recent guide I could use?

easier way is to have modmii download all needed files for you ill give you a step by step

ok start modmii go to bottom and click the button for modmii classic
hit next and i agree again
press o for options and check if n20 is disabled if not press n2o and hit enter to disable it then s to save press enter then press m press enter to go back to main screen
then when it comes up press s enter
then 1 enter
if asked what rev choose 192
then ud (for uneek+di) press enter
then press( d for default save) press enter( once for sd)
then press( d for default save) press enter (next usb)
then press y press enter
wait for it to download
then open the copy to sd folder and copy everything to the root of sd(in this folder there is a folder called bootmiineek rename it bootmii)
then open the copy to usb folder and copy everything to root of usb

Alright so Modmii is probably one of the most enjoyable experiences ever! :) But now that I have everything on my SD and USB I can't get it to work.

First.. I don't even know where to go to even get it to start. I started postloader and at the bottom of the screen it has an Icon that says "Neek" so I pressed that and the screen turns black and the wii drive just flashes and regular intervals. Other than that, or possibly having some sort of channel installed.. I have no idea how to do.

easiest thing to do is go to HBC press home button and launch bootmii did you put you nand files on the usb ?
here is link to channel to launch from sys menu
http://www.mediafire.com/?gyek1gogiddk0no
install wad then just start channel
I didn't install the wad yet because I wanted to make sure all the basics were taken care of. Launching bootmii from HBC isn't working either. The screen stays black.. and then the drive starts flashing. But there's no activity on the USB side. Everything's where it should be (as far as I know).

(Noob question) Is there a chance I don't have bootmii installed?

EDIT: sysCheck says I have Boot2 v3 if that helps

Alright.. So I've tried a few different things.

I used Modmii to generate a clean nand and to create the Sneek files. That worked, but not the first time, and I don't know why. Then I went and replaced the clean nand that Modmii created with my own EmuNand. That didn't work.. So I went back to the Modmii's clean nand and used ShowMiiWads to install all my wads to the clean nand. That didn't work.

I'm gonna try one more time running everything clean.. then booting up and going through initial config again. Then I'll try reinstalling wads. Is there some kind of wad limit?
