Hello :)
My question in how to sort in SXOS in any order ?
So I don't want to sort all alphabetically !
F.e. I want the homebrew loaded first, the nsps, xci at the end.
Is there a way by changing the date-attributes with an attribute-changer?
But what date exactly ? Which attribute must be changed for sorting?
LastAccessTime, CreationTime, LastWriteTime ?
It would be nice if SD card and USB drive are considered.

Thanks for helping in advance :D

Ok, thanks to all,
but isn't there a possibility to load a program at first by changing a special attribute?
And if which attribute exactly must be changed ? LastAccessTime, CreationTime, LastWriteTime ?
Example: I want to load first all homebrews, so I change all homebrow attributes to an older year.
Someone experience with it ?

why not just rename them with 01_ 02_ followed by the file name and so on? that way it loads what you want in "order"

If it's like gateway card it doesn't matter how you change file attributes like last created date, etc, it'll still read based on the order on which file written first
The data is in the directory table of content, so the only way to change it is either modify toc manually or move the file out and then back in in the order that you want

Ok, and how do I modify toc manually?

get a hex editor that allows you to open physical disk sector such as HxD https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd, and google about your file format directory structure (FAT32 and exFAT have different structure)
it goes without saying that if you mess up disk sectors, tldr you might lose your data

Ah, thanks. Not so handy and a bit risky, so I better prefer the move-files method.

1) Create a new folder on your SD card or hard disk in the sxos folder.
2) Copy the files you want to appear in order... homebrew copy first, then nsps, then xci or however else you want it.
3) Rename the xci folder to old xci
4) Rename the new folder you created in step 1 to xci
5) Rename or remove all other folders that SX OS scans

Yeah, needs only some hours with a 400GB SD :(
