Hacking sx os wont recognise xci files

i just put them in the sd card.
card format- exFAT
console - 5.1
sx - 1.3
no special characters.
what am i doing wrong?
is there a way to put them on the sd card?

Sounds like a permissions issue with the SD card.
How was it formatted?in the switch or on your pc

just bought it and transferd the files...
should i format it on pc or switch?
if on switch,on the original fw?

Format it with your PC. Search on google or youtube how you can format exfat micro SD cards. You will probably need a micro SD usb adapter. Unless your PC has a SD reader. When I inserted my microSD for my Switch on firmware 5.1.0 it asked for an update to format. We don't want to go online do we. No sir we don't.

Firstly I do not recommend formatting with Windows. I had give admin full control and format it via cmd on my PC, it was not straight forward. The stock format on Windows does not help most of the time. There are various apps that can help you.

If that doesnt work then see if fat32 makes a difference you can always split XCIs.

Still issues then you need to try a different microSD card and see if that works.

it is not, i bought it from a legit store...
and also, the sxos is loaded with it (boot.dat)
i just downloaded the xci files and transferd them to the sd card, it sould work doesnt it?

Ive bought from amazon fake cards with amazon alone, you should runk h2testw to check that the card is working properly

I second using h2testw to test if its fake. It may take a while but many SD related errors so far have been mostly due to the cards themselves being fake after exhausted all other options, trusted reseller or not.

ok i tried 2 more sd cards, and nothing...
it is probably something with the file....
or it is something that i need to do with it that i dont,
or it is the file itself that doesnt work(i tried 2 games....)
can you guy tell me where to download xci files?

i tried using fat32 on other sd and it worked!

Your Switch doesn't have the exFAT update (but SX OS which is why you were able to boot the console up in the first place).

I thought that firmware 5.1.0 had the update for the exFat format?
