I think it's okay to post a thread asking a question when you're new to everything. I just think the mods should work a little harder to properly redirect them

For example:

New user posts a thread asking if they should update.
Mod should close the thread (not delete) and the last post should just be a kind reminder to search first and then ask in the existing thread. Then a link to the first time the question was asked. Only one thread stays active and no need to be mean to the noobie.

That entry point was released by failoverflow but a lot of devs knew of its existence because is a failure in the tegra processor, and SX OS does the same as atmosphere except SX OS works, so I think there is a tiny difference, atmosphere is not complete, its not stable, they could look that they do similar stuff with a completely different code, we dont know until SX OS is public dude

How can anyone claim SX OS's code is better compared to Atmosphere when absolutely NO ONE, but TX can view the SX OS Source Code ATM, that's complete idiocry.. after-all who's to say most of SX OS's framework isn't copied/built off of Atmosphere's Source Code anyway considering anyone, and their mother can view Atmosphere's source, and use it in their own work (Hekate being a primary example of that), and TX's project being closed source means there wouldn't be a lot of definative proof of that, so he wouldn't have to provide a credit, if he didn't want to... whether that's the case, or not IDK, my point is NO ONE KNOWS, so just don't jump to baseless conclusions, it's fine if you want to buy SX OS yourself, after-all it's your money to spend on anything YOU want, but in that same breath DON'T spread baseless comments you can't back-up.

I wouldn't be surprised if SX OS turned out superior to Atmosphere, however I wouldn't be surprise if SX OS is much more likely to get you banned, as its mainly targeting piracy, whereas Atmosphere's main focus is emulation.

Because if when full working Atmosphere get released with the open source code available to everyone, just imagine how many random teams from any random community will be working on it adding functions like every week...

Xbox with XBMC had nighty builds and a huge amount of builds all over the internet from different teams with fixes and things added way ahead the official releases with fixes not present for some time on the actual original releases.

ps: Now off course at the beginning SX OS will be kinda better as it already run backups, because it was designed to, however its no emunand either, just for that atmosphere is miles ahead and emunand support on TX is also TBA, no ETA...

Well its not out and the ones out compiled didnt actually run... And they are not adding ppl to their team as far as I know... First it must be out until finally people go see the full working source code of the final release to actual add or modify stuff...

Well this doesn’t change the fact that it’s very hard to modify the code of a program
You would have to debug the whole thing again..
