seamless and easy like its blinking pretty fast
listen to your hdd usually if the disc is fucked youll hear the hdd head drop and keep clicking like a tap.......tap, if its fine the clicking will be faster.

if its the psu youll hear the drive try too boot up then wind down and try boot up again

I'm pretty sure the Switch won't work with drives over 2tb - you need to partition the drive into two parts. Also, if you have a lot of games, make sure to let SX OS finish reading them all before mounting them or the game you select will not mount. You'll need to let it scan all the games every time you go into the SX OS menu, which is annoying, but it's the price to pay for being able to have access to 2TB of games without installing.
