Hacking SX OS license and SX PRO on the same console?

Hey all. I'm sorry if this has been asked, but I could not find a solution. I ordered an sx pro which should be arriving next week, but the birthday is coming up and my brother (who did not know I ordered one) wanted to surprise me and set my Switch up with a license code.

Am I just completely out of luck with using the Pro now? Is it one code per console? Will the dongle overwrite any existing license? Advice is appreciated!

You're fine. The pro will know your console already has a valid license.
