that makes even less sense. They'd rather release piracy to the masses(even more so than TXs product already does) by making it piratable just to stroke their epeens some more and get praise from the pirates that they already despise...I think it's more to do with stopping TX from making money. If their tech is released for free, their product is dead in the water.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy a lot of the other work that they've done and commend them for it..but this is outright childish and fueled by what seems like high schoolers with a case of tunnel vision
Opinions are one thing everyone has one...but to make a complete 180 on your stances to do what you've been telling people not to do for years is the the definition of hypocrite in my books.
The correct way to have handled this imo is to either
1. Not give a shit..it doesn't affect them in the least
2. Just continue to work on an open source solution and give people a choice
3. Stop giving a shit and just let TX handle things from here on out..like others have for the Xbox scenes ..
