Hacking SX OS 4.1 Questions. Updating firmware safe? Game Updates?

I looked everywhere but cant find these specific answers, well at least posted recently in past few weeks.

Installed SX OS successfully on 4.1 last night.
1) If I update to the latest firmware from the nintendo network what will I be losing besides the ability to maybe boot CFW without jig/payload in the future?
2)Will SX OS still function the same on latest firmware (boot up xci backups)?
3)Also can I install game updates on 4.1 without a Nintendo account linked or do you have to be on latest FW with nintendo account to donwload game updates?

2. Yes
3. You can install game updates with SX OS V1.4 offline if you can find them in .NSP format otherwise you must be on the latest firmware to download them officially

If you enter into Google the names of scene releases, the places that normally contain those files should pop up. Consult nswdb.com for a list of the names you can try searching.

if an update requires 5.0+ it wont run. For instance Mario Kart 8 update 1.5 wont run on 4.1 since it requires higher firmware.
