Hello.

I installed SX Lite on my switch.
Originally the switch FW was 11.0.1.

After the installation, the green led comes on and the boot.dat is requested.
I copied the boot.dat for 2.9.2 onto my SD card.
Put that into the switch and got the license request.
Got the license and put that into the switch and and got the request to update the SX Fw.
FW updated ok.

Now:
When attempting to power on I see the SX OS splash screen.
The led becomes green then immediately turns off.

When attempting to power on by pressing the +vol button and the power button I get to the backdoor menu for SX OS.
The green LED remains on in this case.
However, when I select to boot CFW the switch turns off again.

I repeated the above with boot.dat for 3.1.0 with the same results.
I repeated the above with a FAT32 sd card with the same results. (Originally it was exFAT.)

Any thoughts are welcome.

Might want to look again, latest beta only supports 11.0.0.

Asked on discord. You can genuine boot into OFW. Emunand however still only works on 11.0.0. You'll also have to genuine boot every time to enter it as well, can't enter it from the button on main menu.

Sysnand = 11.0.1 = Genuine Boot
Emunand = 11.0.0 Only

Edit: For SX Core users: Click Options > SX Core > Genuine Boot

Gotcha about the genuine boot.

Atmosphere v16.2:
I got the version from SDSETUP.com and launched the hetake 5.5.1 interface.
I tried to launch Atmosphere from hetake.
The atmosphere CFW does not work.
The sig patches seem to be latest/greatest.
Are they the same as what you mentioned "side patches"?

Yes sig patches, that's to allow use of everything else that isn't homebrew. Unfortunately I don't think there's a guide for users on SX, that's what I meant by 'hassle'. Also be wary if another update from Nintendo hits. You may not be able to boot into SX menu if they burn any fuses. Entering the Maintenance menu (hold both Vol buttons during Genuine Boot) and then shutting down will delete an update.

Thanks.

So, atmosphere will not launch on SX OS with SX Lite integrated chipsets if Switch FW is 11.0.1.
Atmosphere v16.2 wont launch the fusee bins (neither primary nor secondary).
I think this only works for people using the dongles.

On my latest attempts I tried to launch both the primary and secondary bins using Hetake and got this message:
"Found FSS0, Atmosphere 0.16.2-D7B14F48 Max HOS supported: 11.0.1
t supported on < 0.17.0!mponents.. Mariko no
Error while loading fss0:
atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin
Wrong ini cfg or missing files!
Failed to launch HOS!
Press any key."

All the "literature" I found says that you can use Hetake or the payload tool on SX OS to load the bins but neither works.
Ive tried a few ini files.

When selecting "CFW emuMMC" I get the above error message.
When selecting "CFW sysMMC" I get the above error message.
When selecting Fusee, the Switch turns off.

This is the same with either of the ini files used in the attached images.

Maybe someone can fill the gaps for the rest of us but from the few youtube videos and the 3 or 4 written tutorials on GBA and GT, Reddit and SXOS itself; Atmosphere doesnt work for chipset systems that werent already running CFW.

Currently only works on 11.0. You will need to recompile atmos or wait for 17.0 or wait for tx to update but I doubt they will update further.
