What is the applet mode for? I mean if is better let the album as the regular use and never use to run HBL in applet mode
Applet mode can only use a small part of the RAM. It lets you open hbmenu when there are no titles to override, or while another one is running.

Some homebrew, like ftpd or DBI, can run in applet mode without issues, but most will need more RAM. Some will limit features or refuse to run when opened in applet mode.

This is why title override mode is recommended. Its only downsides are that it needs a title, and that it can't run at the same time as another one.

As answered so many times on the past, even on EACH existing guide and almost all mod threads here on GBATemp, NO!, WILL NO BE another way to modify a V2 or new console on the near future (and I think never).

Any decent phone or laptop shop will have the experience and skills to install a switch modchip, even some tempers offer the service.
Yea you're right sorry for asking I'm just delusional and I thought that someway there was a way around the modchip but no. sorry for asking

A few years ago, someone created a homebrew (NX Activity log) that allows you to display the time on the switch. This homebrew does not allow you to modify the game time stored on the console. I would like it to be possible to add an option that allows you to modify the time displayed on the user's real page and not just on the application

To explain my situation, I recently changed consoles and when I recovered my account, I created a new user on the console and link it instead of transferring it locally. This causes the play time on my user page to not update correctly. For example, my playing time displayed on Mario Kart is 100 hours. For it to be updated, I need to reach 105h on the new switch (205 hours total). And it's like that for all the games I have.

I ran several tests to understand how the Switch changes the play time on the user's page. On the console, there is the save “8000000000000080” which manages friends and the save “80000000000000F0” which manages the play log. However, each user of the console also has their own save of “F0” and “80” to display your own information. The user's "80" has the playing time of the last 20 games played and the "F0" has the total playing time of all video games by the user since forever. The playing time displayed in the user's "80" file is only updated when the playing time of the "F0" file is greater. So we would have to find a way to modify this file directly.

Since I don't have any skills in homebrew development for the switch, I was wondering if someone could add this functionality to this homebrew.

Hi there. I just got a hacked Switch Lite (second hand), and I really don't know anything about the Switch's scene, hekate, emuNAND, etc. I need some orientation. I can see that the Switch is on hekate 6.0.6, and that it shows a warning/error when I launch emuMMC saying ''Failed to match warmboot with fuses! If you continue, sleep mode won't work!'' how can i solve this?

Also, how can I identify what kind of modchip this console has without opening it?

I had another hack switch lite which my friend gave to me. Same games install in that switch.

This guide has a section specifically for modchipped users. I highly recommend following this guide. Also if you want to know what chip is inside your console, you can remove the SD card and try to boot the console; different error messages point to which type of chip you have. Although, once the chip is installed, they all function identically. The only meaningful difference in the chips is how to install them.

Do you have the patches on your SD card? If not, you can download them from this thread.

It's getting to me that the switch a/b/x/y buttons are reversed from the xbox one. Is there a way I can remap a controller? I have a wireless dongle that enables xbox one/ps4 controllers called the adapex r100 pro ($10 on aliexpress, well worth it).

May be you installed the update on a different language or release than the game, or any of the DLC, all them must be for the same release.

As far I could investigate there is several releases for that title:

ID= 010021C000B6A000 (America) US (eng), JP
ID= 01009CD0167E2000 (Japan, Asia) US (eng), JP, KOR
ID= 01005B9002312000 (Europe) US (eng), JP
ID= 0100F8A004458000 (Unknown) US (eng), JP

So make sure you install, Gamme, Update and DLC for the same ID release.

Hey

I installed the RP2040 in a V1 patched switch. The install was all good boots to the no SD card screen 1st shot. I put my sd card in and get the Hekate menu like I should. The issues is parts of the screen are jumpy and sometimes the screen stops responding until you reboot. Even when I clik on payloads LockPick.bin is spelled with the wrong letters,I tried a different chip same issue, I replaced the ribbon that connects to the APU still no change. Once it manage to create the emuMMc and when I tried to connect via USB it errored out after . Any ideas?

Thanks
