So I'm really confused. After upgrading to newest from 0.0.2 to 0.0.3 or w/e (atmosphere/hekate/hbmenu) it broke Tinfoil and it also broke all other homebrew. It didn't break any games besides HB games. I can launch HB menu through album or title override and have re installed tinfoil it did not fix it. What is wrong if I can't use HB after upgrading?

Oh but it let me open an amibo HB app from within HB menu ... but other HB apps anywhere no doesnt work

i guess it was from 0.0.1 to 0.0.2 but I could have sworn it was a 3...

and it says return to home menu and try again when i try to launch nearly all hb, all hb games certainly, and tinfoil, checkpoint etc

I was just looking up something like that and I can confirm that sounds like a corrupted GPT table and will have to reformat.

Did you chainload through hekate? If so try fusee.bin


I had an issue where my forwarders weren't working. They worked when I launched fusee.bin

Eventually I worked out it was my hekate_ipl.ini file. I had to change it.
You get that issue with some games if you use out of date hekate patches. If you use fusee.bin it works.

You can edit the hekate_ipl.ini

So it says kip1patch=nosgcheck

It might say something else and point to a folder.

Then it should fix in hekate too.

no I have 3.0 with double emunand I can use the gig but pegascape was convenient to start it when it's not there I had it at hand, and that's why I didn't update it and I use double emunand

Another question, cheats are activated automatically in all games, and it messes up and crashes the games, i can't get tesla to show up, and when i toggle them off using applet mode edizon, they just come back on when i reboot the game, am i doing something off ? i have already modified the template ini file and set the toggle cheat setting to 0x1 and the auto enable to 0x0.

Delete the Atmosphere folder then try downloading the new one from the official GitHub page.

You might be using a very outdated version of emuiibo. The latest release on the GitHub page was a year ago. Someone linked a more recent build in this reddit thread.

I don't know what firmware is required or what the "safest" one is but you can just try updating to the latest firmware. How you update depends if you want to burn your anti-downgrade fuses or not. If you don't want to burn them, you can use the homebrew app Daybreak. If you don't mind burning them, you can update online. However keep in mind that once you burn your anti-downgrade fuses, you cannot un-burn them so if a better exploit such as untethered coldboot is ever released on a lower firmware, you will not be able to downgrade. Also if you've ever used CFW or homebrew, if you update online, you risk yourself getting banned.

got it fix, no more crash but "emuiibo doesnt seem to be present" ?
Edit: i already downloaded/included the json files not the bin

I believe you need to be on firmware 15.0.0 and above, base on cartridge dump data, it says masterkey 14 (firmware 15.0.0+)
