Help. I have 6.1 sysNAND and 6.1 emNAND. Never use sysNAND.

the Switch boots up into RCM mode. Then I click emunand or custom firmware. Then the Nintendo screen flashes. Then Black screen. Then Nintendo Switch screen. IT then freezes on this screen and never moves on. Did I brick my switch????

I turn off my switch my holding the power for 15 seconds. Charge the SX pro. Then try again and always get the same results.

Auto RCM was on. I turned it off just in case.

Now it wont even boot into normal firmware with every removed. I never used original firmware for anything. It just sticks at the nintedo Switch screen with the logo.

I do have one. back from 4.1 Im on 6.1 now. So I did brick?
Not sure of the main issue here...

But if you restore your orig backup, nand and boot0/1
then use hekate to boot into cfw (make sure to use hekate or it will not boot after old nand restore )
Then what you do is use choirdujour nx to update upto 6.1 again.. dont use system update to 6.2 tho..
use the following as a last result if you cant fix your main issue ..

your welcome

Thanks I guess I didnt know if I was bricked. So I take it I am bricked? I was installing a game update NSP in emunnand. Then once I returned to the home menu the switch froze. Is my Emunand ruined or should I delete somehting so I dont re brick?

Maybe backup what you do have first.. for safe keeping..
all backups are good as long as the prodinfo/f are not corrupt.
and try to remove emunand if there is such a option...

i have not looked into emunand as of yet until i think its worth it ...

The above method is just another solution or will get you running again..

This sounds a lot like a hardware issue that causes the exact symptoms you're describing. Hoping it's not that, it's not terribly common. But it would be weird for your sysNAND and emuNAND to stop working at the same time especially if you never use sysNAND and it worked in the past.
I don't remember the details offhand but apparently there's a specific chip on the board that can go bad, if I'm remembering correctly then this chip going bad also prevents charging. Does your Switch charge up okay?

IIRC, there are some reports that SX Pro dongle could kill the Switch when leaving it plugged in the usb port for too long.

Anyway, as you still have nand backup and emunand, you can use HacDiskMount to dump all the partitions then restore one by one using Hekate.

Good luck.

Is there a guide I can follow? I dont know what Im doing. Is using Hekate to restore my Original nand backup not what I should do? Currently I am joining the nandbackup.01-.14 then I was going to try to restore from backup
