switch microsd card error, constantly disconnects the microsd card from the switch when switch is touched

so i’ve been having this problem with my switch, where the microsd card would disconnect and force me to reset my switch randomly or whenever my switch is touched. i’ve tried using an airdust cleaning mechanism to maybe clean the port a few months ago but im not sure what i can do. i think the reason it does this is because i lost the kickstand for a few years so dust could’ve gotten inside of my switch, but im not sure because i recently bought a kickstand even tho it wont fix anything. lmk asap if there’s anything i can do bc this error is rlly annoying and i need storage

The kickstand is just a piece of plastic.

With a flashlight you should be able to see whether some dust or dirt collected inside the sd cart holder.
A can of compressed air can blow dust from the holder.
Don't spray contact cleaner or something into it because that will leak into the Switch and do more damage.

It can also be due a loose connection or connector.
If you're not into repairing stuff, just take it to a good repair shop and they can fix this.

Loose or faulty SD card connector. Or at worst the pins on the connector are ripped and broken

A new connector can be bought for little money, i think it was like €5 including tools...

my switch has never been opened. but i attempted to open it but couldn’t get past unscrewing the 4 philipscrews in the back bc i accidentally stripped a few of the screws, so other than that it’s never been opened and modded, and the version i have is the regular nintendo switch, the first one launched.

You will need to get it open and try replacing the sd card connector
