No, I think Mariko units are essentially a new motherboard revison which has not been spotted in the wild as of now.
The patched Switches we are seeing right now only patch the Fusee Gelee entry point by altering the bootROM slightly.
This is called an ipatch.

I think you misunderstand the point of this thread a bit. If you have already complete access to the console, you don't need to check the serial. Just test the RCM payload.
This thread is for people who are going to the store and want to know if the switch is patched before they buy.
Also, the serial don't need to match 100%, that's pointless. We have sufficient Data about the XAW1008 series to make a prediction.

XAW94 is a Switch that was refurbished by Nintendo. We don't have information about those.

You do realize that if he edits the serial out, you need to do the same in your quote? It’s not going to do it automatically when he censor his serials.

Serials beginning with XAW1:
XAW10078XX and below are safe to buy
XAW10079XXX not safe to buy, probably patched
XAW1010XXX and above definitely patched
