The first post is not very helpful, it basically says they do not know, then the spread sheet has conflicting reports, it says anything below 40053 is hackable but in the spread sheet someone has 400479 and its patched
Then there is no way for the rest of us to know because the OP is the community compilation of all the serial numbers and whether they are patched or not.
Someone with this serial could tell me if it is valid XAJ400497

That’s exactly the reason why it’s possibly patched. From a certain point on, patched units were introduced, while unpatched one still exist. That’s is true for all assembly lines and not a reporting error.
It says it is possibly patched, it is also outdated and on both Team Xecuters page and the Spreadsheet in the OP it says anything below 40053 is safe
You got it backwards, the Xecuter and Spreadsheet is outdated. If we find only one patched Switch under the “Safe boarder”, the boarder needs to be corrected downwards. So the lowest boarder is always the most up to date.

I don't know why on Earth you're referring to the link when the TL;DR section is not only more up-to-date but accurate.
Alright well can you tell me this, does the numbers after 40047 matter, because that is 400479 that is "Patched" and mine is a 400476?
No body can tell you as it's in the grey are between safe and patched. Some with 48 were unpatched. I myself have 40047x but don't have access to it so no idea if its patched or not. It's just luck
I see in the unpatched serial numbers that XAJ100277 is unpatched. Mine is XAJ100279. Just 2 numbers higher. Should it be safe or hard to tell without testing? Thanks for your help.
