    Hell
It’s in the possibility patched section. The only way to know is to test it.

Is there anyway to currently know if this can be hacked?[IMG]

It's probably patched, but you won't know for sure unless you test it.

If it's patched, you can't hack it unless it is on 4.1.0 and has never been connected to the internet.

    Hi,

What are the odds XAW400207 is unpatched? It gives a warning on the checker, but on the spreadsheet it seems fine?

    Thanks for any help.

Hello, just bought a used switch and my serial is Xaw1011155, it's orange which means it may or may not be patched. How do I proceed safely in checking if it will take the hack os? Thanks for your time, sorry if I'm ignorant just couldn't find this info when I read the article.

    Tim.

Try to inject hekate. If you see the hekate menu, then it's not patched. If the screen stays black, your switch is patched.

Ok forgive me for ignorance but can you link it? Also if it does stay black then how do I get back to boot normally? Also I don't have the tool to boot recovery is there a guide on how to make a tool myself?

I've just bought a second hand Switch with XAW1004464**** serial number. I actually don't know any other details about it. It's gray version. All the sources I checked says it's unpatched, that's why I bought it. But when I send a payload I get "Smashed the stack with a 0x0000 byte SETUP request!" message. I did the test, still the same. It's on 9.0.1 (probably first owner updated it). Any luck for me?

I do not have it. As an alternative, download the latest hekate version from here

    https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/releases

Try to boot hekate. If hekate boots up, your Switch is confirmed to be unpatched.

I tried that but sadly I get 0x0000 message. All the serial number checker websites says it's unpatched so I've bought it without hesitation, now this is a bummer.

Go into your Switch system settings and navigate to your Switch serial number. Then compare with the sticker on the case. If they do not match, then someone swapped motherboards.

Send it back where you bought it for a full refund.
