Sell it , go to local game store and ask to see serial before you buy .... hell maybe a smaller shop will do a direct trade

I thinking about it, its just its the smash edition console and the Dock is awesome.

Trade just the Console its self only then. try and you can find away. find a local shop. tell them you will give them the tablet plus $50 to trade.. or put up a ad online will give new switch tablet plus $50 for a tablet under such and such serial number.some one could get a newer switch tablet and $50... not a bad deal

My question is, has anyone of you seen this sticker on the package, like in the picture?
I was wondering if that was a "refurbished" console or if this sticker was just for the shop (Media Markt)?

/Edit: I also checked the serial on the console and it's the same like on the package...

I recently bought a new switch (the seller said it is new) which should be a patched unit according to the chart and ismyswitchpatched, but when i try to inject payload with tegrarcm it worked, how can this be?

There was a period of time at the assembly line producing your new Switch, where both patched and unpatched units were being worked on. You got lucky getting an unpatched one. Good for you!

A deal I wouldn't be interested in, personnally, but yeah, I guess if the person is blissfully unaware that his older console could be hacked, he'd be happy getting a brand new one plus $50.

So this is what I have. So from what I'm reading I might have a patched ver correct? So I need to short the 2 pins and check correctt? What is the best method these days? How about using the trinket chips

Yes, your console is possibly patched. Short the two pins (With a jig or tinfoil) and enter RCM (Press Vol UP + Power when the switch is turned off and hold). The screen should stay black. And don’t get nervous when the screen doesn’t stay black. You can enter RCM on any console doesn’t matter if it’s patched. Simply try again. When the screen is black try to inject hekate with a smartphone, computer or dongle. If your in the hekate menu, your switch is not patched.

Nope , you can't do anything if the unit is patched, Trinket only push the payload you put on the modchip, can't load it if you can't enter rcm mode.

If you are able to successfully push a payload then you don't have a patched unit, the modchip allow you to run the payload without a dongle, with autoboot and autorcm you can coldboot into CFW.
