Tbh I didn't find alternatives to JITS. I just know that it is implemented in Tinfoil after installing but Tinfoil refuses to boot on AtmosphereNX. It forces me to delete stuff I'm not familiar with (because I softmodded my Switch one year ago but began using it in December '20).
You just need to change your Setup slightly.
From what you're telling i assume, you use Hekate (KOSMOS) to boot your Switch.
Just download the latest Atmosphère Build & SigPatches.
Copy fusee-primary.bin to /bootloader/payloads.
Open hekate_ipl.ini and add the following:
[Atmosphere SYS]
emummc_force_disable=1
payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee-primary.bin
or
[Atmosphere EMU]
payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee-primary.bin
