Hello!
I purchased a brand new Switch V2 last week and took it to a local shop that offers modchip installation.
This is my first Switch ever and I'm quite new to the hacking scene, but I've modded other consoles before, so I can usually follow along. What I'm trying to say I'm not a total noob in general, just a Switch noob
For some reason, they installed the previous version of atmosphere and hekate, as well as firmware 18.0.1, and not the latest versions.
Anyway, the Switch works great and I'm really happy with it.
The problem is, I believe the battery drain is not normal. I don't have any past experiences since I never owned a Switch, but I've read on Nintendo's website that the expected battery life is 4.5 to 9 hours of gameplay for my model (serial starts with XK). I think it drains a little more than expected when playing games which are not too demanding on 30-40 percent brightness as I can't really get those 4.5 hours, let alone the 9. For example, playing Super Mario Wonder for exactly one hour at 30% brightness with airplane mode on took 19% last night. Overnight, I lose 3-4% battery. Now, that's not too bad considering how my Android phones works, but based on other people's experiences on Reddit, GBATemp and other forums, they can leave their Switch in sleep mode for days and lose only a couple of percents of battery. Maybe something is working in the background, but I can't figure out what. Just a guess.
Does anyone know if this is normal, or if it's a known issue that, hopefully, has a solution or at least something I can try to get better results?
My console is almost exclusively in airplane mode.
I'm not sure what data is relevant to provide, so I'll give you guys a few basic things below, but let me know if I can provide any further info.
Atmosphere 1.7.1
Hekate 6.2.1
HOS 18.1.0
HAC-001 (-01)
Any helo woud be much appreciated. Thank you!
