Hacking Switch booting up to SXOS, but not booting CFW/OFW

My brothers first attempted switch hack.

> He did not back up his Nand. (i know =/ )

> He isnt sure what update version he was on.

> He doesnt know what to do next.


His switch is booting up to the SX OS perfectly fine, Black screen when booting up with CFW and OFW, Both with auto RCM and not on.

Not sure what to advise him. With 6.2 being a issue there is a chance he is on that. I am not sure how to check without getting into the settings menu. Any advice?

This seems to be quite a big trend with 6.2.0 and sx os causing "bricks" on those. Maybe even hekate. You can try recreate the NAND: https://guide.sdsetup.com/#/manualchoidowngrade

Is there anyway to check if it is on 6.2 without access to the settings?
