today i had a swim meet against another high school.
i swam the 200 IM race. (Individual Medley, swimming all 4 strokes, 8 laps, 50 yards each stroke, sprint.)
i have done this race a lot of times last year, with my best time of 2:58:xx
of course, that's a terrible time. a decent time is at least 2:20:xx - 2:36:xx
i've been improving; my last race on the 1st (December) was a 2:56:xx, my best time yet.
the day after that, during practice, i did a 2:50:xx.
and today, i did a 2:46:xx.
i dropped 10 seconds in 3 days; a great athletic achievement.
though i really have to get down to 2:3x:xx by next Thursday. (next match)
but i'll see how things go... since it's such a difficult race..
