Sweet 16 Birthday Party Suggestions?

I'm turning 16 this Christmas and I am going to find a job soon so that I can host a birthday party. However, my mother doesn't allow house parties so thats OUT of the suggestions. I live in Lower Mainland Vancouver so places that is cheap or a bit expensive is good to have.

What I'm looking for:

~Lots of fun
~Cheap or a bit expensive price tag to rent a room
~Tons of time to play and have fun
~Just a good time to spend with friends

I really hope this goes well. I mean, I never really had a birthday party with friends but just with families so this is really important for me. Plus, I'm going to look for a job so I can fund this party.

omg, you live near me!!!!

the planet lazer places arent too expensive. though, i always find getting drunk and going to see a movie to be good cheap (when you have ppl pitching in for booze of course) fun.

Why do teens in NA get so excited about turning 16?

I'm 17 and my 16 wasn't special at all.

*Most people get there learners permits for driving at 15, So by the time 16 rolls around they can drive*
That's the only reason 16 is cool. To me 18 and 21 are way more important at least in NA

It's all about the 18th birthday, you're able to vote, drink (Europe only), buy pron, cigs, weed (Netherlands, Californians have to be 21 to get their fix), play the lottery, barely legal cuties for the 20 somethings (you all know you want them).

Drivan? Unfortunately I don't get my car until my 17th birthday but I am jizzing my pants with anticipation over when I will be able to go anywhere I want with my friends without my parents driving me.
