hey, i have a new wii and i can't install bootmii as boot2.
i just got a new motherboard, and will install it soon, so i can play my gamecube backups.
is the 'chip' that stores the boot2 on the same motherboard?
so when i replace my d3-2 with the d2e board, will i also be able to install bootmii into boot2?
    thank a lot!

and, is there a solution for playing gamecube backups through the disc channel?
but not wii games? (i load my wii games via usb)
do i HAVE to insall cioscorp to do this? since i heard it is 'messy' and if i don't need all of it (only the gc stuff) then yeah...
    thanks [IMG]

From the cIOSCORP package, install IOS70 (since you're on 4.2) and the MIOS. Remember that disc backups won't work with the D3-2 board, so you'll need to swap it for the D2E board!
