Hacking Surfs Up & Uno52

I don't know what save type these games use, but they seem to not save properly on my buddy's MK5. He has firmware 1.42 I believe.

Whenever his kid plays the game, it says it saves but when you try to play the game again there is a File Error! Can not write to cart! Then no game works. He has to reformat everytime.

Has anyone run into this error or know a way to fix it?

If you are getting the "File Write Error" on trying to start the rom, 2 Things:

1. To solve: - Connect to your PC throught the usb.
Make a new folder on the card.
Search the Savefile of the game, wich worked normally on last play (If you dont know wich rom it was, try every game, the game wich starts without an error will be this game)
COPY this savefile to the new folder.
Now you will see, this are hundrets of savefiles and it will copy a long time.
Then you will have files like
"Uno52.sav"
"Uno52(1).sav"
"Uno52(2).sav"
"Uno52(3).sav"
...
(Uno52 is just an example)

The original sav file is the "Uno52.sav" this file you must copy to the root of the NCard.
Now the error should be gone.
And PS. You can delete the tonns of files in the new folder ;>

2. Dont play the rom wich caused the error again...
It will make the same error.
Search the web for another release of the game or wait for an update.

Yea I've been telling him to go with option 2. I'll try option 1 and see if that works.

I made a post on NeoFlash's site, who knows if they'll bring it up to N-Card's maker or fix it themselves.

Ehrm, that wasnt 2 options, you must do the 2 thinks.
To play other games you must do 1.
To dont get the error again you must do 2.

I must have read it quickly. Either way, I'll just tell him to keep those games off his card.
