Hello,
I use the EZ-Flash OMEGA with current kernel (1.07) and firmware (7) version and have compared on Windows with mGBA (0.8.4) emulator software.
The problem EZ-Flash OMEGA does not support setting modified date when saving the game. Can you support it for EZ-Flash OMEGA?
An example on mGBA on Windows.
I launch any .gba file for the first time and under Windows Explorer it shows me this timestamp for the .sav file.
Date Created: 11.03.2021 13:44:02
Date Modified: 11.03.2021 13:44:02
Then I save in game for the first time and then it shows me this timestamp for the .sav file.
Date Created: 11.03.2021 13:44:02
Date Modified: 11.03.2021 17:59:28
What happened?
When the user saves only the Date Modified is updated and the Date Created is not updated.
If the user wants to backup the .sav files to an external hard drive, then the user must use robocopy.exe or external file manager, like Multi Commander, which preserves Date Created and Date Modified when copying.
Because Windows Explorer default behavior preserves Date Modified only for newly copied files and directories. Date Created is always set to the current transfer time.
