The GitLab Repo/Wiki Xbox 360 doesn't exist yet. We are currently looking for methods to hack this console series.

This thread is about our contributions for hacking Rock Band titles on the original Xbox 360, the Xbox 360 S, and the Xbox 360 E.
You may comment in this thread to:
  • Ask about customs for the XB360 versions of Rock Band 2, Rock Band 3, LEGO: Rock Band, The Beatles: Rock Band, and Green Day: Rock Band.
  • Ask questions about my GitLab repository, wiki, or anything having to do with it.
  • Link to a related thread where you may have questions on Rock Band for XB360.
  • Post accolades! :yay: :hrth: :toot: :grog:

ATTENTION! You may ask questions here about how to do something, but if you need direct help, i.e. someone who can troubleshoot your problems, then I can not help you. You will have to mention someone else who knows about PS3 Hacks and/or is in the Rock Band Customs Project.

Do NOT ask about Xbox One customs and hacks in this thread. This is for Xbox 360 ONLY. If you want help on XB1 customs, join our Discord server.

Not all links are XB360 specific!

Hello! I "discovered" Rock Band 3 on my Wii in 2012 after the initial excitement had grown dim and absolutely loved drums and vocals. Seeing the progress I made at those two caused me to buy Rocksmith and I now play real bass. I have been aware of customs because of the old C3 website and found the instructions for getting them on my Wii difficult (and at the time, the lack of space on my SD card was a problem too), so I never actually did that. But I kept downloading the songs I liked in the Xbox format. I recently bought an RGH X360 and have RB3 for it. I have a mostly empty 250G internal drive that came with the X360 and 2 TB external drive that I can easily move back and forth between my PC with all the saved customs and my X360.

So, my NOOB questions are: What is the easiest way to copy all these customs to a folder on the Xbox where RB3 will "see" them and can I organize them in subfolders over there or must all customs be in one folder (presumably with actual Harmonix DLC, if any?) for it to work?

Consider that I have yet to actually do anything with their RGH 360 that I just purchased, so if there is some initial step with Aurora or some other tool that I need to do, please tell me which tutorial I should follow.

Thanks for creating this group. I'm excited at the possibility of finally playing the over 1000 custom songs (plus Beatles RB3 "upgrades") that I've collected.

Sorry, I didn't realize this group was DOA.
Not dead, really. Just hasn't picked up speed yet. Congrats on being the first poster in my group (besides me)!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend any particular tutorials yet. Until this group has more interested parties posting, why not try asking on Discord also? Our Discord server is much more active, and I can almost guarantee answers for your questions there.
