Hacking SuperPass2 and DS Lite - Wont Work :-(

I have a superpass2 that i've used to do a flashme on a phat DS (Blue) and it worked fine. I am trying to use it to do a flashme on a DS Lite and all i get are 2 white screens. I've tried using the orginal carts: madden 05 and metroid pinball. I did everything correctly for the superpass2: pluged usb and lpt1, ran superpass program, picked game, copied correct 2 gba files to root of CF card, put cf card in M3, laucnhed gba mode and loaded .gba, copied to sram, put in passme2, and..... 2 blank screens!

Do i need a passme3? any help would be awesome!
