Supercard slot-2 firmware v1.84 released
Auto DLDI patching a-go!!

Showing no signs of dropping support for their slot-2 range of cards, the Supercard Team have released firmware v1.84. New in this version is support for automatic DLDI patching of DLDI compatible homebrew files! Just copy the 'dldi.scp' file to the root of your memory card and away you go!

ALL SUPERCARD SLOT2 series
1.Fixed IDS/IDSL homebrew cannot be used by touching the touch screen
2.Copy the dldi.scp file to root directory of TF/SD card then it could be patched with DLDI.

The Supercard Slot2 cards are the first with auto DLDI patching then , are they ?They're not the first ones with automatic DLDI patching (the CycloDS Evolution, R4 and others were first) but AFAIK they're the first ones to update their Slot-2 cart so it supports automatic DLDI patching.

No. It's possible, but I seriously doubt they would do that. DLDI patching is always the same, but games can be patched in so many ways...


I hope the M3 Team will add this feature for their Slot-2 carts too

Yep, still got my SC CF which I got more than 2 years ago, and it still works great, only use it for some homebrew now though, nice to see continuing support for it, the R4 in the other hand.....

I have to say, there was a few homebrew that didn't work, but that homebrew also had a SC version in the zip, so it really didn't matter

DLDI Autopatching is awesome because it's an official DLDI, not a reversed-engineered one (AFAIK)

EDIT: Er, didn't know that v2.63 patcher was out. I was still using 2.62. Both games patch fine now. Supercard Team rocks, A++++ would buy again!

I still use mine from a while back, but it is mainly to listen to music. My R4 handles all the games.

Can someone test LMP-ng with this autopatching? I was getting severely screwed up music, so I deleted the dldi.scp file and it started working again (was already patched with the older scsd.dldi file).

I believe the issue here is unaligned reads/writes, because the Supercard DS had the same issue until Barni came up with a modified DLDI file for it that supported unaligned reads/writes.

as for the question i don't know, and i don't know where people are getting the idea that this is a new dldi file. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just their standard one.

Getting garbled music with the dldi.scp from this update, too - works fine with barni's dldi renamed to dldi.scp, though. Using lmp-ng 1.02.

wow, I still have this thing sitting around in my desk. You know how you have a desk with clutter in the drawer under the keyboard, pens, advil, excederin, pennies, paper clips, a calculator, etc... yep that's where I keep my supercard floating around. Maybe I should pull it out and see how well the new firmware works
