Hacking Supercard.. Save Battery Broken?

I bought my supercard miniSD around a year ago, I think even less than that, I found out lately, cause I tried play GBA games, that the games don't save anymore. The saving system was always annoying but it doesn't save anymore.
What I mean is - I save in the game, "transfer the save to the SD card", and it doesn't work - like it never really saved to the battery. it used to work when I played GBA a few months ago... doesn't work now.
Though, DS games are still working and saving perfectly...
I didn't think the save battery they are giving is that weak - Is not playing GBA games much a factor to that?
Now I use real-time save which is sucks. It is actually freezes sometimes so I can't really know when it will really save and when it won't.
What can I do for gba games?

Is this just for one game, or have you tested it with others?

And why don't you like the Real Time Save system? I reckon that it is way easier to use than the standard save system.

So, you tried it "without" any cart on slot 1?
If you have a flashed DSLite, try to load the supercard in GBA mode.

by save method you're using QPC method right? quick power cycle...

shut it off, turn it on, go to saver... etc...

i use a Supercard Lite and it doesnt have the save battery like a MiniSD does, but i boot it up in GBA mode and save it there. It amazingly works.

If the button combination isn't working properly, try the QPC method like 2wirends stated. Turn off the DS, quickly turn it back on IN GBA MODE, press Right to go to the saver tab, press A on the save file for that game, and press A again to confirm.

EDIT: also, press L+R upon bootup and press A a few times. Tell us if you get any errors aside from the normal "not find test file" one.

Thank you for replying, I'll try some of your suggestions - that I didn't try. Oh, about the real time save - it freezes sometimes so It's risky saving like that.
I'll answer once I'll try all of them

With the standard gba save procedure the battery isn't even used.

save in game

press L+R+select+A, then choose save to mem card


..if you keep the save untill your back in the menu after the next startup (hence the battery is used) then make sure to be in GBA mode when selecting the saver tab and save file to dump the saver mem to. For a couple of firmwares now the "QPC" method hasn't worked when in DS mode.

Well, you were all right - all I needed to do is go to GBA mode, not using the slot-1 pass card ... I checked it and the saves work using GBA mode
