Hacking Supercard MINI SD help

Tomorrow im getting SC mini SD.

I will use Micro sd with Mini SD adapter.
What do i need to do,can i just make Folder and add unzipped games or what?

A real miniSD card would be better than a micro-to-mini adapter, but let's hope for the best.

You will need to download the latest 2.71 patching software from http://eng.supercard...soft_minisd.htm and use that to patch any games that you put on the card, GBA or NDS. When you first get the card, check your firmware version by holding L+R upon bootup and pressing A a few times. If it's 1.63, upgrade to 1.7 first before skipping ahead to the latest 1.85 version.

EDIT: I forgot to add, with the patching software, do NOT export directly to your SD card, as that's known to cause problems. Instead, output to your hard drive, and copy-and-paste the patched files to the SD card manually.

Yes i would use miniSD but i cant find it where to buy and i cant transfer stuff from laptop to it (dont have money to spend anymore on the card readers)

So micro to mini adapter is my only choice.

EDIT: Also what will go wrong if i add 1.85,instead of adding 1.7?
Because i will bring only micro sd with one game inside,and the GBA SP.
The dude who is selling it to me,is gonna bring adapter so we will try it there and its on the street. I just need to make sure that the card is working with my micro sd.

So i dunno if i should add 1.85 to my micro and update it tommorow when i try it out.

I just got the SC. Its 1.85 version already,now: the seller said i need to format my micro sd on SC official site. is that really necessary?

I got the micro to mini adapter and now im waiting,dunno what to do.


EDIT: Okay havent formated just started it. Said every test is ok,i tried 2 games i added and it works perfect,thanks for all the help!
