No, though I have tried increasing CPU to 4 for Rhythm Togenku, and that helps with the lag. I'll take some photos of what I mean (actually, I might be able to take some screenshots within the emulator itself). A gamer who was less keen might not even notice the mistakes, but someone who owns the originals or has played the originals would see them. Hopefully though, I have done something wrong and the mistakes can be fixed! I actually want the DSTWO to be flawless, because GB/C/A games look amazing on the DSi screen. I've got a thing, but in a few hours I'll upload the screen shots.

Ok, I have taken the images. All are from version 1.21 with the text file added. I have also tested each one with 1.3 and the problem is the same. This first one is from Pokémon Pinball for the GBA. At the start of each game, the little LCD in the middle of the screen spins through different levels. As you can see, there are bits above and bellow that you can see spinning, aspects that were intended to be hidden behind the screen (the player was never meant to see how these sprites work behind the scenes). You can see in this video that you are not meant to see these elements in this game.

Next is the missing text at the start of each mission in Advance Wars before the first turn. This introductory text always frames the battle ahead or introduces new vehicles or tactics that you will need, or otherwise explains something that is new.

This next one is from Advance Wars also. I tried for a few minutes trying to capture the glitch as it flashes up during each rush of the text speed, then I realised I could just video it and then capture a still from the video (doh!). Anyway, in this instance I rushed the "Terms" text from the in game menu, but the effect can be seen by rushing any in game text by pressing A.

I have to say again how much I love playing these in native resolution. Each pixel in game was designed to occupy one pixel on the screen, it just looks incredible. It's making me want to buy a EZ Flash IV and another Gameboy Advance SP.

Then it's as I feared :( I perhaps shouldn't have bought an XL if I wanted the ultimate portable Nintendo collection. I should have bought a Lite with a 3in1 or EZ Flash IV. Lameboy doesn't even run all GB/GBC games fine. And any consoles meant for TVs have too high a resolution for any DS screen anyway. I think I got a bit overexcited about the emulation capabilities of the DSTWO :( Emulation just isn't the same, by a long shot.

GBA games is the reason I never bought either of dsi. I have lite with ak2i and 3in1 and it works like charm, 3in1 even helps with its RAM in some emulators! I also have the good old m3 perfect in case 3in1 dies...

No, but there is a separate emulator known as Lameboy that supports GB/C roms.
Thanks for your answer!I found the emulator but is there any tutorial because I do not know how to use it with the Supercard...

Just take the lameboy.nds file and drop it into your _dstwoplug folder. You can add a small icon if you want by dropping a .bmp file named "lameboy" as well into the same folder, sized 40x42.

Mind you this is based off memory since I haven't had a DSTwo for a while but I'm pretty sure this is how it goes. :P

EDIT: GB/C roms go in a folder at the root of your sd card. I named mine "GBC" because it's simple and to the point.

So is there an update for this somewhere? I put the Pokemon GBA games on there but they run slow.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
