    Hi,

I was looking around at what I needed for my SC DS1 when it arrives and the supercard site lists:

"The Newest micro firmware 1.01 for SuperCard DS ONE

    micro firmware 1.01: micro Firmware 1.01 (2007.07.24)
Usage: Please follow the instruction of readme.txt
NOTE: SuperCard DS ONE has a micro firmware, user should download the SC DS ONE OS to the ROOT of the flash memory card before use it."

I know this firmware is a year old, so will the SC DS 1 have this already on it or should this be the first thing I do when I get the card loaded up on my NDS (idk if it matters or not, but I have the old fat ds) ?

I know I need the OS and I have that, but is flashing the firmware a necessity or will I be able to play without it?

    Thanks for any help

You flash a v3.0 sdhc capable scds1 with that you'll brick it.

It's for the older v1.0/2.0 non sdhc scds1's, it improved fat32 support.
