Yea, a "Co-Op" option of adventure mode...which I guess is also filed under the single player option XD
It could work especially with a lot of baddies on the screen..

which does remind me, I really like the interface they made for the menus and such, based on the Names update. I like the Kirby Air Ride feel, but both Air Ride and Brawl are Sakurai's creations!

*prays for Sakurai to restore Kirby back to its former SSB glory*

No way! The Pokémon Trainer has finally arrived. And it looks like he doesn’t do his fighting directly.

Instead, he uses the three Pokémon with him—Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard—to do the fighting for him.

He needs to use his three Pokémon to fight. So the only ones who fight directly are the Pokémon.

I guess you could say using this character is like playing three for the price of one!

And the Pokémon Trainer uses a special move called Pokémon Change to switch between them.(DOWN B)

What I would have loved as a design was the choice to customize your 3 pokemon out of all the Starters. I would have rather use a Totodile,Grovyle,Typhlosion combination. Im not complaning much but that would have been cool

Will be interesting to see how this works out. You have Pokemon as playable characters, Pokemon as semi playable characters via a trainer and you have non playable Pokemon characters. Talk about overkill!

I'm guessing alternative costumes could provide different 'pokemon trainers' such as the female trainer.

It's almost like having a Pokemon game within SSBB! Multiplayer is going to be so crazy! The Pokemon elements alone will probably be better than PBR lol.

18 characters unveiled now (including Peach, MetaKnight and Snake), I wonder who's next!

Well, this update tops Ike for me.

1. It's RED, nostaglia everywhere.

2. Sakurai and his team decided he would use Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard. The three original starters, all with different attributes. Squirtle could be the lightweight/speedy attacker, Ivysaur being all around (it's also on all fours, will they make Ivysaur a full four footed character? Or make him stand like Pikachu at different points?), and Charizard being the heavyweight/powerhouse.

3. Creative concept of Pokemon Trainer, I'm just not sure about the whole stamina thing...but still, I like how unique he is. I hope he's gonna be top tier or something XD

4. I wanna see how they'll implement Red in moving stages. Will he move along with his Pokemon?


I was expecting some confirmation on the whole wifi being confirmed/release date on Monday, but this update was equally as good. Pokemon themed week? Now I'm hoping Sakurai will finally "reveal" Pokemon Stadium, it's probably the second or third most stage used in screenshots. I'm also hoping for a Pokemon Champsionship battle remix or something!

Stickers are easier to get a hold of than trophies. Just play the game and you’ll start to earn them as rewards.

Stickers get filed away in your album.

This is a fun extra mode where you can enjoy decorating things by putting stickers on them. You can even make single frame comics with them.

And rumor is, you can even save screenshots?!
