Until today my ssbb iso disc(4.7gb dvd+R) would load in the neogamma r7 backup loader. The cios i was using was cios 249 rev10.

but today I decided to get a newer cios and i got cios rev21.

but now when i try to load my ssbb backup disc it will load until it gets to the title screen and it will cut to a whit screen with light blue text that says:
Please insert the super smash bros. brawl disc.

I have tried other backups and they work just fine, but ssbb won't

    Please help!

You downloaded the trimmed version that had the Subspace Emmisary cut out. Get a 1:1 backup and you'll be fine.

What's a 1:1 backup? Will i have to use a dual layer disc for it?

One last thing: why did it work before i got the newer cios, but not now?

i have the actual game, so it's not pirating, it's backing it up.....

I used to think that too, but as long as you're downloading it then it is a form of self-piracy.

    Dreamland.
Backing up is backing up the original game, downloading is a whole different thing.

Plus, I would edit your post that said where you got it from, as it's against the rules to even mention them.

slightly offtopic here but you shouldn't use DVD+R. Apparently it damages the wii laser. Use DVD-Rs.
Edit: ....someone just tell him what to do/whats wrong with the iso. telling him that piracy is wrong isn't going to make much of an impact to him, and he's probably going to get the information elsewhere if thats all he's getting from ya. Yeah, piracy is wrong. Got it. But I really doubt he's just gonna pack his bags and quit just cause you guys told him.

We never said anything of the sort, and quite frankly our lives don't depend on answering the question.

    I said "apparently" didn't I? but here's my slightly shoddy source: http://www.wiihacks.com/d2pro/5536-dvd-r.html
Mind you, I could just be gullible and misinformed.

Edit:ohhkaaay, you're lives don't depend on answering the question, okay, then don't give him an answer that won't actually work for him. ik piracy is wrong, but telling him that won't change much...

why tell him if he does have the actual game disk(retail).. then he doesn't need to download it. he can back it up.. an thats fine let him go to a different site an ask the other pirates there.
he will not get my help. [IMG]

A serious answer: Your drive is nearly dead and can't read the disc without problems, that's the point. You should take a look at usb loading.
