What does the 1.0.5 update bring, anything good? Or just more stupid nerfs?
Lol, balance changes are a good thing. Nintendo refused to implement them on any previous Smash Bros game, so it's about time they got with the program. Don't discourage them from finally entering the 21st century of game design.

Sorry, but when everything us super-balanced, then that means no characters are better than others, and that sucks. Kirby totally pwned in Brawl, as did Captain Falcon, and we need more stuff like that.

That's not what it means. It means giving every character different strengths and weaknesses. Having one or two characters who totally dominate ruins online play and makes the game stagnate. Not good.

(Meta Knight was by far the most brokenly OP in Brawl.)

No, it makes it more challenging. So you'd have to figure out a way and level the playing field.

The skill of the player you're playing against is what is meant to make it more challenging. Not ridiculously over/underpowered characters. Leaving some imbalance for the single-player would be fine to make certain characters as CPUs harder to defeat, but letting the game balance fall to pieces in multiplayer is just bad game design.

All challenging games have it where certain characters are stronger than others, each have there strength and weaknesses.

Perfect balance is nearly impossible, yes, but the goal is never to have certain characters be blatantly stronger than others. You want to reduce the difference in strength between characters to be as minimal as possible.

Not going to lie, this is probably the worst thing I've ever read regarding "fighting" games. Having certain characters be objectively better than others is the WORST thing for a fighting game, regardless of which character you use.

Nah you guys. There should be one ultimate character that everyone plays because they're better and stronger than every other character.

This makes the game so much more fun, especially for the people who don't play as them. /s
